Rock The Lake 2025 Amplifies Lineup with Second Wave of Canadian Icons: Matthew Good, Dear Rouge, and Crash Test Dummies

Rock The Lake (RTL), presented by GSL Group’s Sports & Entertainment division, is amplifying the excitement with a second wave of artists set to take the outdoor stage at its eighth annual festival. Joining the previously announced acts are Canadian rock mainstays Matthew Good and His Band, Dear Rouge, and Crash Test Dummies. The three-day festival will be held from July 11–13, 2025, outside Prospera Place in Kelowna, B.C.

Building on the buzz from the first wave lineup announcement in March, featuring Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band, and Down With Webster, Rock The Lake solidifies its reputation as the Okanagan’s premier rock festival. Unique to 2025, all signed artists are Canadian, including two local Kelowna bands: Lucky Monkey and CrushXO. Fans can anticipate a weekend filled with unforgettable performances and the signature Okanagan summer vibe that Rock The Lake has become known for.

“The response to our first artist announcement has been fantastic, and we’re excited to maintain this momentum with the second wave,” said Marlon Weidlich, Senior Director of Event Operations at GSL Group. “Incorporating the unique sounds of a Canadian heavy hitter like Matthew Good, along with the talents of Dear Rouge and Crash Test Dummies, gives us confidence that we’re delivering a more diverse and inclusive, yet still authentically Canadian,  rock festival experience for our fans.”

SECOND WAVE ARTISTS

Matthew Good and His Band, the celebrated multi-platinum artist known for evocative lyrics and powerful stage presence, will showcase Matthew Good’s extensive catalogue of hits, including anthems from his time with the Matthew Good Band and his successful solo career. Fans can look forward to a performance filled with raw emotion and the intellectual depth that defines his music.

Dear Rouge, the JUNO Award-winning duo of Drew and Danielle McTaggart, will bring their infectious energy and alternative rock anthems to the festival. Known for their dynamic live performances and chart-topping singles like “Fake Fame” and “I Heard I Had,” Dear Rouge is guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

Crash Test Dummies add a touch of 90s nostalgia and their unmistakable sound. With a career highlighted by global hits like “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm” and “Superman’s Song,” the band, featuring Brad Roberts’s distinctive baritone, promises a performance that is both familiar and captivating.
